Flower Power

After some heavy err...session, it's nice to know that deep inside me, I'm just another regular guy who visits places like the pub..oppss..I mean park. Yes, parks as in those lined with trees and lakes. And what a pleasant (or unpleasant depending on whether one liked the RM2 admission fee to a supposedly "free" park) surprise it was. The reason being there was this international exhibition for the landscaping industry. I must say, this industry is quite big and something I look forward to touching one fine day.

Nice arrangement of err..flowers

What?? For a bloody botanic item?

I do know of some "plants" fetching high prices. So, is this one err..."edible"? :)

The RM26,000 err...tree.

Alright, I'll have to admit I don't have the artistic sense in the evaluation of botanical items. But is this tree really worth the quoted RM26,000? I mean, that's enough money to open a big room at Vegas! Something which would make me the most likable person amongst my circle of friends. Thank goodness the highest bidder is only willing to go up till RM20,0000.

Soon to be opened hotels in KL

Also visible from said park is the view of these 2 baby opening soon. Twin tower hotel but under different management? One's Le Meridien and the other one's Hilton. Hilton? Does this mean Paris Hilton (below) will be here for the grand opening?? Hmmmm....

Paris Hilton, co-owner of the Hilton hotels group.

Err...ducks of course.

By the way, this landscaping exhibition ended last Sunday. So, no chance for you to visit it despite my promotion here. And no, I did not encounter any plant of the 'ganja' kind anywhere. :)
