Sharapova returning a serve en route to humbling her "bigger" opponent
No, I'm not going to turn this blog into some Sharapova's shrine. But it's worth mentioning that a true beauty finally manages to humble the "beast" in the form of Serena Williams. Whatever Serena's reasons may be for losing this in straight sets, no credit should be taken away from 17 year old Sharapova. Many congratulations to her!
Sharapova's achievement can be considered as a major upset. Here's hoping tonight's Euro 2004 final won't produce that big of an upset. Why? Err...I've placed some dough on the host nation. :)
